What are the keys to your overall fitness methods? |

1. Fitness works best when the mind and body are in sync. It all comes together when we pay attention to our own consciousness then take action— HAPPY MIND, HAPPY BODY as Jeri and Buddha may say. |

and medical; your support system; your time (limitation for exercise, right times to workout, length of workout); your ambitions and fears; what’s worked and not worked before.

We address nutrition in a new way, with sound coaching from consciousness, using flexible choices — not rigid guidelines or a diet
of supplements or all prepackaged meals. We also honor the interconnection to medical, health, genetics, and hormone imbalances. The essential key is to get your feet on the ground and separate habitual patterns from overindulgence and necessity. No shame — just mindful options. |

a missing link, we plan systematically to adjust cardio variety, frequency, duration, intensity, timing, and type.

How do I lose weight in my belly? |
A. |
Unless today they have had a scientist breakthrough I don’t know about, first remember and digest fat cells reduce in size throughout the body and not from one specific area. Real work needs to be done and honest choices need to be made for change to occur. Start by looking and adjusting (more or less) these three areas: cardiovascular training including any activity that properly works your heart, eating habits (frequency, type, amounts), and strength/weight training workout. |

Is having a personal trainer really cost effective? |
A. |
I’ve had many trainers (for different reasons/sports) and it’s the last necessity I give up. However, only you can soulfully and financially answer that. Most people workout at 80% of max effort and experience limited results when they exercise on their own. The “right” fitness trainer for your BODY id, keeps you more focused and can push you mentally and physically, which I find is impossible to do on your own. An exercise partner or fit muse helps too. |

What type of exercise is best for my body? |

A loaded question so here’s my very short answer. Every “body” can respond different to selective exercises, sports and routines. Some keys to choose a proper workout: 1) educate yourself and take time for a discovery process about your body type, level, goals and interest, 2) Enjoy what you do and be consistent, 3) research a bit before you jump into the latest, greatest exercise or equipment.

Can I rely on the class or group instructor to give me a great workout? |
A. |
That’s a great Question. It all depends on your motivation level. I find many people prefer having an outside source of energy and entertainment to help them through their workout. Most people will achieve more with the help of a professional trainer/motivator. |

Is it smart for me to do group exercise with friends with different goals? |
A. |
First determine independent objectives and aspirations to design the proper, balanced regimen. Then, I suggest creating your own personal goals based on the results you want and keep track (with a journal and/or charts) of what you are doing and accomplishing as an individual even in a group setting. Ultimately, keep your eye on your fitness goals without competing or comparing. |

I get frustrated when exercising with a group because
I can’t keep in sync. What can I do? |
A. |
I always suggest people exercise at their own pace and not lose direction or physical benefits. Of course, one must know and understand what that is. Try breaking down the class or group lesson to understand the structure along with movements. Then work each week on improving something that is challenging for you.
